LASER CUTTING

Laser cutting offers many advantages over other profiling methods.

  • Clean cuts

  • High accuracy

  • Economical

  • Fast

Most metallic materials can be successfully processed in a wide range of thicknesses up to 20mm, maintaining close tolerances.

WATER JET CUTTING

Waterjet cutting can be used to cut almost any material, with the exception of toughened glass and some laminated materials. With no heat affected zone, no work hardened edges, it allows extremely fine detail to be cut in most materials with almost no thickness limitation.

Our Waterjets

ward jet

Wardjet ZXL 2043 bedsize = 4m x 2m

OMAX-55100-1

Omax 55100 bedsize = 2.5m x 1.25m

Gas, plasma and guilotine

These cutting methods are used for jobs prioritising low cost where tolerance and cut quality aren't critical

Gas cutting

ward jet

Wardjet ZXL 2043 - bedsize = 4mx2m

Oxyfuel - used for thicker steel 25mm +

Plasma cutting

Lightning-HD-CNC-High-Definition-Plasma-Cutter-from-Esprit-Automation-Transparent-backgrou

Espirit - bedsize = 3m x 1.5m

Cleaner cutting than oxy fuel gas cutting, but lower tolerance than laser, up to 20mm

Guilotine

Bystronic-Guillotine

Bystronic Byshear RV6.5 - 6mm/3metres

Perfect for quick square cuts, reqularly used for blanks to be folded into gutters, stair treads and troughs for example
